Born in Lebanon and raised in both Lebanon and Paris, France. Shabazz Michael Makin is an award-winning professional construction engineer contractor that has traveled and lived all around the world and is now based in Cleverland, Ohio. Shabazz Michael Makin gets his inspiration from his late father and uncle, Culture and his Life Adventures and loves sharing his connection with those who view his construction projects. Shabazz Michael Makin is a mixed breed, his father was from the Paris, France and his Mum was a Lebanon. Moved to back to Lebanon when he was 17 years old with his parents. Lived there for the better part of his life. He obtained his degree in construction engineering at the University of Amsterdam, in the Netherlands, Michael went to a private school and the University of the Netherlands, established in 1632 by municipal authorities and later renamed for the city of Amsterdam, the University of Amsterdam is the third-oldest university in the Netherlands. Besides becoming a professional Construction engineer star in the engineering & construction World, Michael is a devoted GrandFather to a beautiful granddaughter name Emme and feels blessed to be doing what he loves to express his Joy for Life on Canvas. Professional Background Shabazz Michael Makin became the President and Chief Executive Officer of Shabazz Michael Makin in December 2005, following his service as the Company’s interim President and Chief Executive Officer since September 2005. Previously, he served as an advisor of ACS group, a global leader in infrastructure, from November 2003 until March 2005. He served as Chief Executive Officer of ACS grouo Ltd. from July 2000 until October 2004. Prior to this, Mr. Dibowitz served as Executive Vice President of ACS group Management since June 2001, and as Chief Commercial Officer since January 1998. He has over 20 years of construction industry experience. Prior to joining ACS group, Mr. Dibowitz held various positions within tax, process reengineering and marketing at Transocean Ltd. and Ernst & Young LLP. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin where he received a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, and Master's degrees in Professional Accounting (MPA) and Business Administration (MBA).
